NEW RSV WEBSITE INCLUDES PIA FRAMEWORK TECHNOLOGY.

Ricoh Silicon Valley (RSV), San Jose, Calif., has launched www.RiSource.org, a website for open source software developers creating new information applications for workgroups and small- to medium-sized offices.

In addition to providing open source developers with RSV's just-released PIA Framework Technology, RiSource.org will evolve to include areas for the following:

-- RiSource Forum - forums for sharing information on open source software

-- RiSource Guides - guides and tutorials for creating effective information applications

-- RiSource Development - support for starting and collaborating on open source projects

-- RiSource Repository - access to open source software, including the PIA framework

RiSource.org will promote the growth of a development community that shares a common, open source infrastructure and knowledge base, and will evolve to include resources and information to support VARs, system integrators and consultants serving the small office/workgroup environment.
