Nine newly elected members on the three governing bodies will be sworn into office, and a new mayor will be selected at a ceremony scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. at City Hall, 613 E. Broadway. In some places, the Clerk may be known as the "Village Clerk" or "Town Clerk". "Mary Hamilton" (aka "The Four Marys") is a Sixteenth Century ballad that tells the story of Mary Hamilton, one of the "four Marys", all of whom were and Victor King. After comments from them, Twedt will swear in council members Bob Yousefian, Frank Quintero and Dave Weaver. Weaver, who has served as mayor for the past year, will give a parting speech, as will retiring council members Ginger Bremberg and Sheldon Baker. The new council will then vote to select a new mayor, a ceremonial post rotated on an annual basis. Councilman Gus Gomez is next in line. City Treasurer Ronald Borucki, who ran unopposed, will be sworn in by Twedt, who ran unopposed as well. Twedt will be sworn in by Weaver.
