 KICKS OFF THIS WEEK
ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE: EK) this week unveiled the second phase of its aggressive campaign aimed at increasing visibility and purchase interest of Kodak's business and commercial imaging products. Launched during the Winter Olympics, opposite the Wall Street Journal's first-ever sports editorial page, the campaign will continue the strategy of running in select horizontal and vertical media aimed at supporting key Kodak business events.
The first ads of this new phase will begin appearing this week in the Wall Street Journal, with exclusive placement opposite the Journal's business and technology column. The second phase of this campaign, which is geared to support Kodak's major participation in the AIIM (Association for Image and Information Management) show, also appears in such publications as InformationWeek, Computerworld, USA Today and Imaging World.
The series of ads emphasize Kodak's rich heritage of pictorial image quality and feature Kodak copiers, thermal printers, document management products, printing and publishing products, and desktop computer applications.
According to George Conte, Kodak's manager of worldwide business imaging communications, "The goal of the campaign is to communicate Q in a very dramatic and visual manner Q the numerous applications and opportunities that exist for imaging in the business, industrial and government arena. Each of the ads describe how Kodak can put imaging to work for your business."
The campaign is scheduled to continue until the end of 1992 in select vertical and horizontal media which strategically reach targeted audiences for Kodak's broad range of business imaging products.
