The first prototype SH-60R arrived at Pax River in May for combined developmental and contractor testing. The R version is a remanufacture of the SH-60B and F models currently in the fleet. The CH-60S and the SH-60R will share a common glass cockpit A glass cockpit is an aircraft cockpit that features electronic instrument displays. A relatively recent development, glass cockpits are highly sought-after upgrades from traditional cockpits. .
