NEW Earns Fourth Consecutive J.D. Power and Associates Certified Call Center Program Distinction.


STERLING, Va. -- N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc. (NEW), the leading provider of extended service plans, buyer protection services and product support, has been recognized for the fourth consecutive year by J.D. Power and Associates Certified Call Center Program(SM) for providing "An Outstanding Customer Service Experience." NEW operates Customer Contact Centers across the U.S. providing support to more than 150 million consumers.

Over the past 12 months, NEW opened two new centers and fielded more than 15.5 million customer calls. As part of the J.D. Power and Associates certification process, NEW's contact center operations successfully passed a detailed audit of recruiting, training, employee incentives, management roles and responsibilities and quality assurance capabilities.

In addition to passing a detailed operations audit, J.D. Power and Associates conducted a random survey of customers who had recently contacted NEW's call centers. Customers were asked to rate NEW's customer service using the following criteria: courtesy and knowledge of the Customer Care Representatives (CCR's), ease in reaching a CCR, usefulness of the information provided, and timely resolution of the customer's problem, question or request.

NEW was the first in its industry to be recognized with this distinction from J.D. Power and Associates in 2005.
