debut today in L.A. Life. They are:

``Superzeros,'' by Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorial cartoonist Mike Luckovich, follows the exploits (or maybe ex-splats! would be the better word) of misfit mis·fit
n.
1. Something of the wrong size or shape for its purpose.

2. One who is unable to adjust to one's environment or circumstances or is considered to be disturbingly different from others.
crimefighters Manly Man and Bluebird bluebird, common name for a North American migratory bird of the family Turdidae (thrush family). The eastern bluebird, Sialia sialis, is among the first spring arrivals in the North. It is about 7 in. (17.8 cm) long. .

Randolph Itch 2 a.m. is an insomniac's fantasy by Buffalo News editorial cartoonist Tom Toles: the random sleeping and waking obsessions of a man with a very restless mind.

And ``Six Chix'' offers a rotating lineup of six cartoonists - Isabella Bannerman, Margaret Shulock, Rina Piccolo piccolo, small transverse flute pitched an octave higher than the standard flute. Its tone is bright and shrill, and it can produce the highest notes in the orchestral range. The piccolo is used in orchestras and especially in military bands. See fife. , Ann Telnaes, Kathryn LeMieux and Stephanie Piro - each of whose work appears once a week on the same day. No recurring characters to follow, just a lot of humor and insight into the female brain.

Check 'em out. The strips replace Motley's Crew, which is leaving syndication, Broom Hilda and Shoe.
