NETWORK WORLD NAMES JOHN GALLANT VICE PRESIDENT, EDITORIAL, AND EVILEE THIBEAULT VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING

 NETWORK WORLD NAMES JOHN GALLANT VICE PRESIDENT, EDITORIAL,
 AND EVILEE THIBEAULT VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING
 FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Network World Inc. today announced the promotions of John Gallant to vice president, editorial, and Evilee Thibeault to vice president, marketing.
 Gallant has served as editor of Network World, the industry's fastest growing networking publication, for four years. He joined Network World in 1986 as managing editor.
 Thibeault was promoted from her job as Network World's director of marketing, a position she has held since November 1990. She also has served as the publication's marketing manager.
 "John Gallant and Evilee Thibeault have played an instrumental role in helping Network World to become the premier publication in the networking industry. Both their promotions are well deserved," said Colin Ungaro, publisher of Network World.
 Previously, Gallant was senior editor, Software & Services, for Computerworld.
 Gallant has a master's degree in journalism from Boston University and bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Boston College.
 Prior to joining Network World, Thibeault held several marketing positions, including advertising manager at Codex Corporation, marketing communications manager at Data Communications, media director at Technology Solutions, and research analysts at Information Systems News.
