NETWORK WORLD CHOSEN BEST READ AND MOST USEFUL
NETWORKING PUBLICATION IN THREE RECENT READERSHIP WINS
FRAMINGHAM, Mass., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- In three independent studies, Network World was recently ranked the best read and most useful networking publication. These studies indicate the readership preferences of key networking decision-makers and reflect industry excellence for networking publications.
The first two surveys were commissioned by Interop Fall and Communications Networks East to profile attendees from each of these leading industry events. In both surveys, Network World was voted the best-read publication in open-ended readership questions from more than 100 different publications mentioned in each survey.
In addition, in a third study commissioned by The Wall Street Journal and conducted by Erdos and Morgan, Network World was named as the most important and useful networking publication among members of the International Communications Association.
Network World President and Publisher Colin Ungaro said, "the results of these surveys are an independent confirmation of Network World's superior editorial quality and its usefulness to managers in network-intensive environments. These professionals spend millions of dollars annually on the full range of networking equipment and services, including local and wide area networks, computers and applications."
Network World, established in 1986, is the national newspaper of enterprise network strategies. Network World is the fastest-growing newsweekly in the networking market, providing information on network products and services including managing the enterprise network for corporate competitive advantage. Network World is published by Network World Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of International Data Group (IDG).
