 NETWORK WORLD ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF THOMAS J. WILSON
 AS VICE PRESIDENT, SALES
 FRAMINGHAM, Mass., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Network World today announced the appointment of Tom Wilson to the post of vice president, sales. Wilson will direct the advertising sales efforts of Network World nationally for eight district offices as well as oversee the publication's classified advertising department. He will assume responsibilities May 11th and ultimately will work at the publication's headquarters in Framingham, Mass.
 "Tom's foresight, professionalism and leadership skills make him the ideal person to lead our sales efforts," said Network World president and publisher Colin B. Ungaro. "Since he is a veteran sales and publishing professional, I am confident that he will be able to further accelerate the growth of Network World in the 1990's."
 Prior to joining Network World, Wilson worked in various sales and publishing positions. Most recently, he was the vice president/advertising director for the National Law Journal and the New York Law Journal. He has also served as publisher for Fiberoptic Product News and Lasers and Optronics magazine, and eastern sales manager for Advertising Age.
 Wilson received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He currently resides in Chatham, N.J.
