The deal represents Netcoast's second try at acquiring a company. Netcoast had announced in December that it had signed a letter of intent to acquire Atomix Inc., a Hollywood-based computer graphics and animation service. But the companies were unable to come to a final agreement, said Mike Manahan, a consultant for Netcoast. Manahan said if the One Stop deal goes through, it will probably be the first of several. ``There's not many obstacles that might keep it from closing,'' he said. ``Once the acquisition is completed, Netcoast might be attempting a strategy of acquiring other companies involved with what One Stop is doing.'' |
