NEPC, JICA agreement.

Jordan and Japan signed an agreement on Tuesday to train staff of the Iraqi Electricity Ministry in areas related to financial analysis, project planning and reducing electricity loss in distribution networks and transport lines. The agreement was signed by Secretary General of the Ministry of planning and International Cooperation, Nasser Shraideh, Director General of the National Electric Power Company (NEPC), Ahmad Hiyasat, and Resident Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Shigeru Okamoto. Sixty employees from the Iraqi electricity ministry are expected to enroll in the training program
