 NEOMECS ADDS THREE MEMBERS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- NeoMecs Inc. has appointed


three members to its board of directors.
 The new members are: Les Krogh, Ph.D., retired senior vice president of Research & Development at 3M and a member of the board of directors of the Minnesota High Technology Council; Leo T. Furcht, M.D., professor and head of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology and director of the Biomedical Engineering Center at the University of Minnesota; William Rudelius, Ph.D., professor of Marketing in the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and author of the best- selling textbook, "Marketing" (3rd edition, 1992, Richard D. Irwin).
 NeoMecs Inc. was founded in 1989 to commercialize plasma polymerization processes and other chemical bonding techniques. NeoMecs provides a specialized material coating service to industry, and is developing membrane products for the medical, biotechnology and environmental markets. Its founder and president, Dr. Hiroshi Nomura, has a doctorate in physical chemistry from the University of Tokyo. NeoMecs, which is privately held, is based in St. Louis Park, Minn.
