The research methodology involves a series of four geographically and demographically diverse focus groups. Participants in the focus-group activities represent a cross-section of environmental health professionals. Findings will be used to produce a comprehensive report identifying ways to strengthen collaborative links, training programs, and credentialing programs. The project began on October 1, 2001, and will last for one year, with the possibility of additional work continuing in subsequent years.
