NEA Fine Arts Grant Program.


The National Education Association will award 10 $2,000 grants to teachers implementing fine arts programs for students at risk of failure. Programs may focus on music, theater, dance, painting, sculpture, photography, design, or folk arts folk art, the art works of a culturally homogeneous people produced by artists without formal training. The forms of such works are generally developed into a tradition that is either cut off from or tenuously connected to the contemporary cultural mainstream. . Funds may be used for supplies, equipment, software, transportation, or professional fees.
