NDS Group plc (NASDAQ/NASDAQ Europe: NNDS), a News Corporation (NYSE: NWS, NWS.A) company and the leading provider of conditional access systems and interactive applications for digital TV, today jointly announced with WorldGate (NASDAQ: WGAT), the leading interactive TV solutions provider for the cable television industry, that the two companies have signed a content partnership agreement, in which NDS will provide the first digital photo solution for the WorldGate Interactive Service.

NDS EZPixTV(TM) is an integrated digital interactive television photo application and will be the first photo application offered through WorldGate's interactive TV platform. NDS's strategic alliance with PictureVision Inc., a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company, is designed to enable EZPixTV users to view, share, and order digital photo reprints from Kodak PhotoNet(TM) online. In addition, viewers can edit and enhance pictures, order prints in various sizes, provide friends and family with access to photo libraries and even have photo images printed on various items such as mugs, T-shirts and postcards.

According to the agreement, announced here at NCTA, WorldGate will incorporate the EZPixTV service onto the WorldGate Interactive Service and begin co-marketing it to cable operators beginning this quarter. The joint solution offers multiple system operators (MSOs) a new interactive television service offering with high consumer appeal and potential for generating incremental revenue, supported by a reliable and scalable software infrastructure. NCTA show attendees will have the opportunity to see NDS EZPixTV running on WorldGate's platform at NDS's booth # 2771 and at WorldGate's booth #1345.
