NDS, a News Corporation company and leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, announced today that Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG) - the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services - has integrated their ICOMS convergent billing and customer care solution with the NDS VideoGuard conditional access system. It is anticipated that the solution will be deployed to U.S. operators in Q4 2003.

Under the agreement, the Convergys ICOMS billing and customer care solution will communicate directly with the VideoGuard conditional access system. The joint solution offers MSOs a number of capabilities including: subscriber provisioning, Pay-Per-View reportback history management, Pay-Per-View schedule information, smart card inventory and set-top box non-responder reporting.
