L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: LLL) is a company that supplies command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C3ISR) systems and
 employees were the 2006 leaders in the Technical Information Division Configuration and Data Management certification and apprentice program.

For the year, Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. The company is the third largest defense contractor for the U.S.  had 25 successful candidates, and L-3 Communications had 21. In most cases, the two companies supported their staff by providing the training and cost of examinations. This resulted in many of their CDM 1. CDM - Content Data Model

All candidates were required to successfully complete a comprehensive examination to become certified. The exam high scorers were Virginia B. Sauers of Northrop Grumman for the CDM manager level exam and Laura K. Lindberg of Northrop Grumman for the CDM specialist level exam.
