South Bend is a city in St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States.
 -- The president of the University of Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. In the United States of America, Notre Dame  has decided to permit performances of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues as well as allow an annual gay and lesbian film festival to continue, despite protests by some that a Catholic campus shouldn't host such events, reports the Associated Press Associated Press: see news agency.
