NCSRT Filtration Equipment Patented for Dairy Separation.

APEX, N.C. -- NCSRT, Inc. (NCSRT) recently received three U.S. patents (6,827,960; 6,852,352; 6,875,459) for its SmartFlow(TM) technology that provides unprecedented separation and purification of milk, whey and colostrum colostrum /co·los·trum/ (kol-os´trum) the thin, yellow, milky fluid secreted by the mammary gland a few days before or after parturition.

According to NCSRT President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Henry Kopf III, the superior fluid dynamics in SmartFlow technology optimize membrane use and expand the performance limits of traditional Cross Flow Filtration (CFF See Compensatory Financing Facility. ) and Tangential Flow Filtration Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) is a separation technique that uses membrane systems to purify proteins. It recirculates the retentate across the membrane surface, which minimises the fouling of the membrane.  (TFF).

"Our SmartFlow technology provides dairy processors the ability to cost effectively produce multiple fractions of milk and whey not previously possible. The ability to produce inexpensive dairy fractions provides the opportunity to manufacture a number of end products with improved nutrition such as infant formula, sports supplements and other value-added dairy-based products," said Kopf.

NCSRT offers a complete line of the patented CONSEP CONSEP Cooperative North American Shotgunning Education Program (R) SmartFlow modules, including CONSEP 3000, CONSEP 7000 and CONSEP 11000. These flat sheet filter modules are available in a wide range of membrane materials and pore sizes.

NCSRT offers innovative filtration, separation and purification solutions for biotechnology, biopharmaceutical processing, animal healthcare, dairy processing, and enzyme manufacturing. NCSRT technical engineers have developed customized process solutions that fulfill the diverse ultrafiltration ultrafiltration /ul·tra·fil·tra·tion/ (ul?trah-fil-tra´shun) filtration through a filter capable of removing very minute (ultramicroscopic) particles.
