NCI Awarded $7m DRMS contract.


NCI See Liberate.  Information Systems, Inc. (NCI), a leading information technology, enterprise management, systems engineering and integration corporation, announced today that it has been awarded a time and material task order contract under NCI's GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services. Its goal is to promote GSM as the worldwide mobile communications standard. See GSM Association and GSM.  Schedule worth more than $7M if all options are exercised.

The new contract is for the Defense Logistics Agency's Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service Noun 1. Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service - the organization in the Defense Logistics Agency that inventories and evaluates and sells reusable United States government surplus
DRMS
 (DRMS). The contract will be performed primarily at DRMS Headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan “Battle Creek” redirects here. For other uses, see Battle Creek (disambiguation).
Battle Creek is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan, in northwest Calhoun County.
 with some NCI staff assigned at other DRMS locations worldwide. SAIC is a subcontractor to NCI on this award.

"This award is indicative of the customer relationship we've earned over the years by being responsive to the DRMS and its worldwide mission," said Charles Narang, Chief Executive Officer for NCI.

This contract supports approximately 530 employees and contractors in the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center and 1,300 located at the 100+ remote offices located worldwide. Specific IT support and administration responsibilities include local area networks (LAN), telecommunications (WAN), PC level end user computing Using a desktop or laptop computer. , IT help desk, asset management and logistics, mid-tier computing, information assurance, and software applications development.
