NCI Awarded $3.1 M Air Force Communications Agency Contract.


RESTON, Va. -- NCI See Liberate.  Information Systems, Inc. (NCI), a leading information technology and systems engineering and integration corporation, announced today that it has been awarded a four-year task order worth approximately $3.1 M, through the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Affairs is a term of the business that deals with the relation between a government and its veteran communities, usually administered by the designated government agency.  Global Information Technology Support Services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  (GITSS GITSS Global Information Technology Support Services (SAIS) ) contract. The task order was placed on behalf of the Air Force Communications Agency The Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA) is a United States Air Force field operating agency of the Office of Warfighting Integration and Chief Information Officer. The agency was established on June 13 1996 and is headquartered at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.  by BuyIT.gov, the Department of Veterans Affairs Federal acquisition center specializing in the procurement of information technology (IT)-related services and products for the Federal government.

"We are excited that NCI has been given the opportunity to continue its ongoing support for the Air Force Communications Agency mission," said Charles Narang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Through this contract, NCI will provide technical support to the agency's Enterprise Architecture Division as it develops the ConstellationNet sub-enterprise architecture. In addition, NCI will provide support for the design, development, and maintenance of web-based information management systems as they transition from client-server to service-oriented architectures.
