This new version now allows system administrators to easily manage software package installation from a web interface.

Today NCD is also releasing an updated version of ThinPATH PC and announcing the ThinPATH Management Portal, an extension to the ThinPATH Management System that broadens the scope of the ThinPATH PC software. While ThinPATH PC transforms PCs into thin clients, the ThinPATH Management Portal automates desktop software installation, centralizes configuration and desktop management. This innovative system supports both ThinSTAR terminals and PCs and significantly reduces support and maintenance costs for server-based computing environments.

The ThinPATH Management System 3.0 is provided as a complimentary update to current customers. The software is available for installation from the NCD web site at www.ncd.com.

The new release of NCD ThinPATH PC is priced at $119 per desktop license and is available now.
