: NCDI NCDI Northern Centre for Digital Imaging (West Yorkshire, UK) .OB), a leading provider of thin client information access and management products, has today announced that it is shipping new Thinfrastructure products, NCD ThinSTAR 232 Windows-based terminals (WBTs) and NCD ThinPATH Plus V 2.1, to customers. The new WBT See Windows-based terminal.  is a reliable, high-performance plug-and-play device, offered at an entry-level price, accompanied by an improved version of the NCD ThinPATH Plus software.

The NCD ThinSTAR 232 WBT gives IT managers the ability to deploy high-performance desktop devices to task-based users while controlling costs and easing management headaches. The NCD ThinSTAR 232 provides managed access to mission-critical applications with the lowest cost of ownership in its class.

The NCD ThinSTAR 232 combines high manageability with the lowest total cost of ownership for a desktop that can access Windows applications. The new device features 8 MB flash memory and 32 MB RAM (sufficient for access to Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  and support for multiple sessions), and also supports 64k colors. NCD ThinPATH(R) Plus 2.1: Eight different product packages are available: five-user license package ($295), ten-user license package ($560), fifty-user license package ($2650), and flexible license packages at four levels, including:
