:NCDI NCDI Northern Centre for Digital Imaging (West Yorkshire, UK) ) announced today its NTRIGUE Trade-Up Program to ease the migration of Insignia's NTRIGUE customers to NCD's WinCenter product.

On January 12th, Insignia sold its NTRIGUE Multi-user Windows NT technology to Citrix Systems and discontinued sales of the product. Citrix has partnered with NCD NCD - Network Computing Devices  to put together an easy way to move NTRIGUE customers to NCD's WinCenter. The Trade-Up Program provides customers with installations of NTRIGUE, a low cost migration path to WinCenter 3.1, the leading product for delivering Windows NT applications to UNIX UNIX

WinCenter 3.1 is based upon Citrix Systems' WinFrame 1.7, to which it adds support for the UNIX environment with X.11 drivers, NFS (Network File System) The file sharing protocol in a Unix network. An important railway and industrial center, it has industries that manufacture textiles, electronics, spirits, and locomotives. +. In addition, WinCenter 3.1's Multi-user Application Manager eases the installation and management of applications being deployed in a multi-user environment.

"Our intent with this program is to painlessly migrate the NTRIGUE installed base to WinCenter 3.1," said Mike Kruse, WinCenter product manager for NCD. "From there we can provide them with additional licenses, 7x24hr technical support and an annual update program guaranteeing their path to NT 4.0 support."

"We are very excited about this program," commented Cecil Dye, senior VP of Sales for NCD. "We have already spoken to several NTRIGUE resellers who are planning to use this program to migrate their whole installed base to WinCenter."

Prices for the NTRIGUE Trade-Up Program start at less than $500 to migrate a 5 user server to WinCenter. Full details of the program are available at http://www.ncd.com/promos/tradeup.html or from NCD's sales team at 1 800-800-9599.
