) based in Portland, Oregon. NCC represented Drizzle Site Specific in the December transaction; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Seattle, Drizzle Site Specific began as an ISP (1) See in-system programmable.

 and now provides business class Internet connectivity, broadband, managed colocation, Web Hosting Making a Web site available on the Internet. Many ISPs host a few personal Web pages for an individual at no additional cost above the monthly service fee, but the address is subordinate to the ISP; for example, www.friendlyisp.com/pat_smith.  and a full range of related Internet services. The sale includes a third generation data center in downtown Seattle. The acquisition solidly expands the IPNS footprint into the Washington market.

Drizzle was founded by Kaley Davis as a BBS (1) (Bulletin Board System) A computer system used as an information source and forum for a particular interest group. They were widely used in the U.S.  in 1996 and quickly grew to be one of the top ISPs in the Seattle market. The company eventually merged with Site Specific, a firm providing high end Internet services.

According to Tom Millitzer, President of NCC, "This acquisition brings together two firms that truly complement each other geographically and enhances the skill set of each firm. The customers of IPNS and Drizzle Site Specific will benefit from the transaction." Millitzer also noted that Drizzle Site Specific was courted by several firms.
