It was the first commercial bank in the Western United States, the second-richest bank in the nation, and considered instrumental in developing the American Old West. , announced today that the Corporation's Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one stock split of the Corporation's Common Stock. The stock split will be effective and additional shares issued to shareholders of record as of February 28, 2007. Shareholders of record as of such date will receive one additional share of common stock for each share owned on that date. It is anticipated that the certificates representing the additional shares issued will be delivered to shareholders in March 2007.

"The intended purpose of this stock split is to facilitate shareholders liquidity and to have more shares available for investment in the bank," said Barry W. Uzel, President and Chief Executive Officer.
