Major U.S. commercial broadcasting company. It was formed in 1926 by RCA Corp., General Electric Co. (GE), and Westinghouse and was the first U.S. company to operate a broadcast network.
 Change: Ben Silverman Ben Silverman (b. August 15 1970, Pittsfield, Massachusetts)[1] is the new chairman of NBC Entertainment and NBC Universal Television Studio.[2]  was named co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and of the NBC Universal Television Studio, sharing the newly created top job with Marc Graboff in a move to boost the struggling network's ratings and improve its stance on the Interact. Silverman, a former William Morris talent agent, was behind some recent Successes, including "The Office" and ABC's "Ugly Betty." Silverman was also executive producer of several reality shows, including "Nashville Star" on USA Network, "Blow Out" on Bravo and "Date My Mom Date My Mom is a television dating show airing on the music channel MTV and produced by Shaniqua Productions. An 18-24-year-old male, or gay male/lesbian female, goes on 3 separate dates with 3 moms who try to convince them to pick their son or daughter to date. " on MTV MTV
