NBC's Martin Savidge to Emcee Press Club of Cleveland's Hall of Fame Induction.


CLEVELAND -- Award-winning NBC-TV news correspondent Martin Savidge Martin Savidge is an American television news correspondent for NBC News. He previously worked for CNN and WJW, Cleveland, where he also worked with current NBC correspondent Kelly O'Donnell[1].  is returning home to emcee the 2006 Cleveland Journalism Hall of Fame induction ceremony, The Press Club of Cleveland announced today.

Charter One Bank will sponsor the event, which will be held at LaCentre in Westlake on Oct. 26.

 for his coverage of the Elian Gonzalez story in Miami.

Savidge will introduce the Class of 2006: Former Cleveland Press society editor Marge Alge, broadcaster Casey Coleman, Cleveland Jewish News editor Cynthia Dettelbach, photographer Ron Kuntz and retired Plain Dealer publisher Alex Machaskee.
