We want to go camping ... but the best spots are too far away, it takes too much time to get ready, there's too much gear to pack, too much stuff to do around the house.

That's where this book comes in handy. Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  is loaded with quality camping venues that are within easy driving distance. --Tahoe trout: The Lake Tahoe area isn't just about blackjack blackjack, one of the world's most widely played gambling card games; also known as twenty-one or vingt-et-un. Despite contesting claims between the French and Italians, its origins are unknown.  and all-you-can-eat buffets. The fly fishing in nearby streams and lakes is underrated given how much there is to do there.

There's www.cyberfly.com, which updates the action all over the area and offers programs with the locally based Reel School of Flyfishing.

Tahoe Fly Fishing (www.tahoeflyfishing.com) contains a guide service (with reasonable prices) and one-day courses with topics ranging from ``Basic and Advanced Fly Tying'' to ``Basic Entomology entomology, study of insects, an arthropod class that comprises about 900,000 known species, representing about three fourths of all the classified animal species.  and Casting Lessons.''

Then there's www.tahoeangler.com., which ``Provides the finest outdoor adventure at Lake Tahoe.''
