ON THE INTERNET

The season is definitely beginning to change - especially in California's mountain regions. So it's time to pull the skis out of the attic, sit down at www.goski.com and finalize a ski or snowboarding trip.

Goski.com covers nearly every resort in California and does it well. When viewers choose a destination, they are given directions from Los Angeles, Las Vegas or the Bay Area, followed by an in-depth profile.

From there, viewers get a short description of the mountain and various facts with personal reviews by skiers. At the bottom of the page there is a ``hot spots'' section that is handy when looking for good restaurants, followed by mountain services and other Web site links.

This Web site is useful but doesn't offer much in the way of photos - but at least it can get you there to take some of your own.
