NATO delegation attend Halabcha crime commemoration.

ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: A NATO delegation attended a ceremony in commemoration of the Halabcha crimes in Arbil today. It was the 24th anniversary of the bombing of Halabcha city with the use of chemical weapons by the previous regime. The delegation expressed solidarity with the Kurdish people and readiness to preserves the security and stability of the region in support of democracy there. Aswat al-Iraq reported that the ceremony reminded the people of the 1988 crime which resulted in the deaths of 5000 and 10,000 casualties. RM (TP)/SR
