NATIONAL MEDIA CORPORATION TO MARKET PRODUCTS IN MEXICO; AGREEMENT WITH UNIVISA MARKS BEGINNING OF NATIONAL MEDIA EXPANSION INTO LATIN AMERICA

 PHILADELPHIA, March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- National Media Corporation (NYSE: NM) announced today it has concluded a three-year marketing agreement with Univisa, a subsidiary of Grupo Televisa, Mexico's largest television broadcasting company.
 Under the agreement, Univisa will become the exclusive marketer of National Media products in Mexico, through direct response television, radio, print, direct mail, telemarketing, catalogs and retail.
 Grupo Televisa is the communications industry leader in Mexico, reaching the entire country through its four television networks and its ownership of Cablevision, the country's largest cable system operator. In Mexico City alone, the Cablevision franchise covers 4 million television households. Overall, Grupo Televisa has a market share of nearly 90 percent of Mexico's viewership.
 National Media will make available its transactional television programming to Univisa, which will dub the programs into Spanish and then broadcast the programming through Grupo Televisa's broadcast and cable operations. The first two products to be marketed in Mexico under this agreement will be the Stairclimber Plus home stair climbing machine featuring decathlon champion Bruce Jenner, and the Juice Tiger juicing machine.
