NASDAQ REMOVES TURBODYNE FROM STOCK LISTINGS.

Turbodyne Technologies Inc. said Monday Monday: see week.  that its shares have been delisted by the Nasdaq stock exchange and that it will report significant losses for 1998.

As recently as last week, Turbodyne officials appeared confident that Nasdaq would resume trading its stock, and Weichselbraun said he had no explanation for the Nasdaq decision. In a separate announcement Monday, Turbodyne said it missed a filing deadline for its 1998 annual report, but that when the information is published the company will show a ``substantial net loss for the year.'' Turbodyne has filed with the Securities and Exchange for a two-week extension, which would give it until April 15 to publish the report. Weichselbraun said he could not guarantee the company would meet the later deadline.
