NASA REHIRES FIRM TO PROVIDE DRYDEN SERVICE ILLINOIS COMPANY'S DEAL INVOLVES GROUND SUPPORT.

 has rehired an Illinois-based company to provide aerospace ground equipment support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  at Dryden Flight Research Center The Dryden Flight Research Center (DFRC), located inside Edwards Air Force Base, is an aeronautical research center operated by NASA. On March 26, 1976 it was named in honor of the late Hugh L. .

A follow-on to an existing contract that concludes June 30, the contract with Kay and Associates Inc. covers a three-year base period beginning July 1 and could be extended for up to a total of 10 years, with a potential maximum value of $21 million if all options are exercised.

, Ill., employs about 25 people at NASA Dryden. The firm has provided ground equipment support services at NASA Dryden since 1988.

Kay and Associates will provide maintenance, modification, repair, documentation and operation services for multiple pieces of ground equipment as well as labor to support that equipment.

The equipment includes aerospace and space flight ground support items, automotive and special-purpose vehicles that support Dryden research programs and general center operations.
