NARI annual awards.

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry celebrated the Annual Chapter Awards for the New York City/Long Island Chapter recently.

Sponsored by Kleet Lumber, the evening was kicked off by the National NARI President, Everett Collier. New chapter president, Patty Leary, of United Marble, was sworn in.

Members were recognized for their participation in lecturing at the recent Homeowner Seminars and congratulations went to the newest Certified Professionals

The Chairperson's Award was presented to Irwin Cordova of Brothers Building Supply; The Outstanding Service Award was present to Kerry O'Brien of T.F. O'Brien and Company. Dawn Cameron of HSBC Mortgage received the Outstanding Service Award; The Presidents Award was presented to Erik Ortmann, Esq of Capell Vishnick LLC.

The Al Hovanian, CR Memorial Chapter Award was presented to Christopher Distante, CR, CAPS and Arthur Donnelly, CR, CKBR, of Legacy Builders and Remodelers Corp. The AIM Award recognized the efforts of Douglas Dervin, CR, CLC of Double D Contracting, Irwin Cordova of Brothers Building Supply and John Hogan of Parksite, Plunkett and Webster, for their recruitment efforts. Lorraine Hart of Ideal Consulting received the award for recruiting the most members in 2005.

Supplier of the Year went to Kleet Lumber and The Zabbia Insurance Agency received the award for Associated of the Year.
