NAMM MEMBERS VOTE TO KEEP SHOW IN NASHVILLEAT THE RECENT NAMM Nashville Summer Session, an attendee survey was conducted to help determine whether or not 'Music City' was still a destination that NAMM members wished to visit for this yearly event. Special electronic kiosks were set up outside the main entrance to the exhibit floor where, for the entire three days of the show, exhibitors and attendees were able to cast their votes and help determine the fate of future Summer Session locations. A total of 1,202 replies were obtained, resulting in 69% of the buyers not in favor of leaving Nashville, and 65% of the exhibitors also not in favor of changing venues. 'Our NAMM members have spoken,' said Larry R. Linkin, NAMM president/CEO. 'We'd like to thank all of those in attendance at the Summer Session who participated in this survey, and you can rest assured that, for now anyway, we will be keeping the Summer Session in Nashville.' |
