David A. Buckel was named GFO of Micron Electronics Inc., Nampa, Idaho, a provider of Web-hosting services.

Frank Cerminara was named SVP and CFO of Hershey Foods Corp., Hershey, Pa., the chocolate company that was acquired by Philip Morris Cos. last December.

Lewis Chew (Silicon Valley Chapter) was promoted to CFO of National Semiconductor Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., a semiconductor maker.

Alexis Dow (Portland Chapter), metro auditor, Auditor's Office of Metro Portland, Ore., was co-awarded the National Association of Local Government Auditors (N.A.L.G.A.) highest honor, the Knighton Award, for producing the best audit report by a local government audit agency in the United States and Canada.

Robert J. Eason (Connecticut/Westchester Chapter) was named President of HarborView Partners, LLC, Stamford, Conn., a firm that provides internal audit outsourcing and business advisory services to Fortune 1000 companies.

Jeffrey P. Freimark (New Jersey Chapter) was hired as Senior EVP and CFO of office-supply retail chain Officemax Inc., based in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Victor E. Grijalva (Dallas Chapter) was named CFO of Worldquest Networks Inc., Dallas, an Internet telephony company, while retaining the position of CFO of Trinity e-Ventures Inc., the technology investment arm of Trinity Industries Inc.

Charles R. ("Chip") Hageboeck (Indianapolis Chapter) was named CFO of City Holding Co., Charleston, W. Va,, a holding company for City National Bank.

Karla Horwitz (Washington State Chapter) was hired as CFO of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), headquartered in Seattle.

Dennis Mahoney, CPA (Silicon Valley Chapter President) joined PortalPlayer Inc. as CFO. The Santa Clara, Calif. firm is a supplier of platform solutions for consumer electronics digital audio recording and playback devices.

Bradley J. Mucek (Milwaukee Chapter) was named VP Financial Operations at Lovelace Health Systems, Albuquerque, N.M., an integrated healthcare delivery system and Cigna subsidiary company.

Grover L Porter, CPA, Ph.D., (Nashville Chapter) was the recipient of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants' "2001 Lifetime Achievement in Accounting Education Award." A retired professor of accounting, Dr. Porter is a business consultant in Nashville.

David L. Shedlarz (New York City Chapter) was named a Director of Pitney Bowes Inc., the Stamford, Conn.-based office equipment and communications services company. Shedlarz is EVP and CFO of Pfizer, Inc.

James R. Stewart (Twin Cities Chapter) was hired as CFO of closely held Optical Solutions Inc., a Minneapolis provider of fiber-optic voice, video and data products.

Joseph Tomczak (Michiana Chapter) joined, as EVP and CFO, Coachmen Industries Inc., Elkhart, Ind. The company manufactures and sells recreational vehicles and modular homes.
