In 2001, NAMA awarded two new awards developed to extend the organization's value to outstanding leaders in agribusiness. These new awards were able to strengthen NAMA's position as the professional development organization for agribusiness and agri-marketing. Again during the 2002 Agri-Marketing Conference & Trade Show, April 17-19 in Nashville Nashville, city (1990 pop. 487,969), state capital, coextensive with Davidson co., central Tenn., on the Cumberland River, in a fertile farm area; inc. as a city 1806, merged with Davidson co. 1963. , NAMA will gather the industry and award the highest honors in agribusiness. Agribusiness Leader of the Year The Agribusiness Leader of the Year is NAMA's highest honor As a verb, to accept a bill of exchange, or to pay a note, check, or accepted bill, at maturity. To pay or to accept and pay, or, where a credit so engages, to purchase or discount a draft complying with the terms of the draft. . The award is designed to honor an outstanding leader in agribusiness, education, government service or other agribusiness related area. Solicited from senior level position holders in private, public or academic service, nominees should exemplify ex·em·pli·fy tr.v. ex·em·pli·fied, ex·em·pli·fy·ing, ex·em·pli·fies 1. a.
