NAAPAC Raises Nearly $20,000 at AOD Event Bucs and Booty

NAAPAC threw its last fundraising event of the year at the 2006 Assembly of Delegates meeting in Sunny Isles, Fla. Incoming 2007 Chairman Dave Watkins hosted the event as his alter ego "Pirate Dave" and welcomed the attendees to his beachside retreat. The reception offered the chance to win Dave's pirate treasure and other pirate booty. The treasure, a 42-inch plasma fiat-screen TV, was generously sponsored by AZUMA Leasing under BJ Rosow's direction. Paul Dougan of University Furnishings in Dallas, Texas, had the lucky key to unlock the treasure chest. Several walked away with the booty--a bounty of pearl jewelry. In the end, NAAPAC raised just under $20,000, putting it over its goal for the year.
