Under this program, each state with an NAA affiliate will have one or more Ambassadors selected to assist with the following functions: educating their state members about the NAA PAC, securing authorizations to solicit, and assisting affiliates in their state with meeting and exceeding their fair share goals. The NAA PAC State Ambassadors Program will assist us in expanding our influence and help us reach our goal of developing a first-rate PAC. The success of this program will depend on nominating individuals who truly understand the importance of a strong PAC and who are committed to the cause. The NAA PAC is capable of becoming one of the more influential PACs, but we first must put into place the building blocks. The NAA PAC State Ambassadors Program is an important first step. With fair share levels as low as $250 for most affiliates, 100 percent participation is an achievable goal. An Ambassador Orientation took place during the NAA Education Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Fla., where the volunteers were trained on PAC fundraising rules and shared ideas for raising their fair share. In future years, this orientation will take place each March during the Capitol Conference. The following individuals have agreed to serve as Ambassadors: Lizz Barr (Alaska),Terry Feinberg (Arizona), Mark "Doc" Lindsay (Arkansas), Fred Quercetti (Delaware), David Hirsch (Georgia), Bob Wise (Kansas & Missouri), Gale Lively (Western Kentucky), Jim Caffey (Maryland), Rick Koontz (Michigan), Michael Goldberg (New Jersey), Mary Jane Zak (New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States.
