N.Y. BAGEL WON'T BUY BURBANK RIVAL.

 Bagel Exchange has dropped previously announced plans to buy Burbank-based Bake It Again, Sam because the local rival no longer fits its needs.

The Northridge-based company had said in January it would buy the business for an undisclosed price, calling Bake It Again, Sam a ``highly successful'' business and saying the operations would supplement its own business. But New York Bagel Exchange changed its mind this week.
