N.C. SUNCARE COMPANY OFFERS EXPANDED LINE, INCREASED DISTRIBUTION

HICKORY, N.C., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- A tropical sensation is blooming in a most unexpected place -- the foothills of Hickory, N.C. -- thanks to the new management of a company offering an expanded line of suncare, hair and skin products at a greater number of distribution points.
Until now, name recognition for Coco Willy(TM) was limited to the N.C. foothills, where it was developed in the 1980s. Its popularity has grown since 1991, when the company was purchased by Gary Bach and two associates and regrouped under the name KIJA, Inc.
Bach, a former general engineering contractor, expanded the product line and increased distribution throughout the entire Southeast and New Jersey.
Bach receives complimentary letters weekly from people across the country who discovered his products while visiting the East Coast and want to purchase them back home. While Coco Willy is not distributed nationally yet, company principals plan to go national as soon as demand allows it.
One better-known consumer of Coco Willy is the Washington Redskins. Coco Willy was the official team shampoo last season and the team loved it, said team manager Jay Brunetti.
What attracts consumers like the Redskins to Coco Willy is its tropical fragrance, effectiveness, reasonable price (about half the price of similar products), and inclusion of 10 moisturizers -- more than any competitive product. Additionally, allergy sufferers find the all-natural products are irritant free.
 The Coco Willy line includes:
-- Ph-balanced shampoos for oily and normal hair.
-- Conditioner with protein and silk amino acids.
 -- 4 Seasons Body Lotion.
-- Two PABA-free, fragrance-free, waterproof sunscreens with SPFs of
15 and 30. The sunscreens are fragrance-free to avoid competing
with colognes or perfumes since many wear sunscreens daily.
PABA, often an irritant, isn't used in any Coco Willy sunscreen.
-- Super Dark Tanning Oil, SPF 0.
-- Dark Tanning Oil, SPF 2.
-- Dark Tanning Lotion, SPF 4.
-- Dark Tanning Lotion, SPF 8.
 -- After Sun Body Lotion.
-- Aloe Vera Gel. Developed by Bach himself, this product is 99.6
percent pure aloe vera oil, with minimal citrus fragrance added.
Its consistency is light as water to avoid rubbing a sunburn or
 other skin irritation.
