(NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange :MYL MYL Mind Your Language MYL Made You Laugh MYL Miss You Lots MYL Meet You Later MYL Miss You Loads ) announced today that it has received approval from The Food and Drug Administration to manufacture and market estropipate tablets in 0.75 mg, 1.5 mg, and 3 mg strengths. Estropipate tablets are the generic equivalent to Ogen(R), manufactured and marketed by Pharmacia and Upjohn company. The Product is used to treat moderate to severe vasomotor vasomotor /vaso·mo·tor/ (-mo´tor) 1. affecting the caliber of blood vessels. 2. a vasomotor agent or nerve. va·so·mo·tor adj. symptoms (commonly referred to as 'hotflashes') associated with menopause. Mylan will manufacture and ship this product from their Puerto Rico Puerto Rico (pwār`tō rē`kō), island (2005 est. pop. 3,917,000), 3,508 sq mi (9,086 sq km), West Indies, c.1,000 mi (1,610 km) SE of Miami, Fla. facility. |
