My BFF and I have always spent New Year's Eve at her house watching the ball drop. But this year, I want to mix it up.

If you really want to go ... GO! If she is a good friend, she'll understand and maybe even go with you. Explain to her why it's important to you. Just be sure you don't hurt your friend in the process!

Tell her it would be fun to stay at her house but that it might be even more fun to go to the party! Free food, more buds end probably boys. If she says "no," invite a couple of friends to your house and have a little party there. Happy New Year!
