Musician duets with stars.

Bucking the trend and flying the flag for the boys is highly regarded Irish singer, guitarist and songwriter Brian Kennedy There have been several notable people named Brian Kennedy:
  • Brian Kennedy (journalist), a gay journalist and activist who helped set up the London Lesbian and Gay Centre in 1985
  • Brian Kennedy (singer), a singer from Belfast, Northern Ireland
, pictured left, and he can be found at the Customs House in South Shields South Shields, city (1991 pop. 86,488), South Tyneside, NE England, at the mouth of the Tyne River. It is a significant port. Shipbuilding and marine engineering are the main industries; chemicals and paints are manufactured.  on Sunday.

Kennedy was a regular associate of Van Morrison, worked on the hugely successful Riverdance on Broadway and toured with Ray Charles, Tina Turner, the Corrs and Eddi Reader.

His latest CD, On Song 2 ( Red Sails In The Sunset (Curb Records) features duets with Ralph McTell, Juliet Turner, Lulu, Liam Clancy and boxer Barry McGuigan.

He is one of Ireland's most successful and versatile performers, and was given due recognition with a six-part BBC BBC
 in full British Broadcasting Corp.

Publicly financed broadcasting system in Britain. A private company at its founding in 1922, it was replaced by a public corporation under royal charter in 1927.
 TV series in 2003.

That year he was due to appear at the Opera House in Westgate Road, Newcastle, just days before it closed its doors.

Happily it is restored to the music and theatre circuit once again ( as the Journal Tyne Theatre ( and I will be taking a look at some forthcoming gigs there in the weeks ahead.
