Music-loving OAPs get the chance to rock out for free.
Organisers of The Cornbury Festival are offering all over-70s free tickets to this summer's event, which takes place in the picturesque Cotswold countryside and also features appearances from The Pretenders, Scouting For Girls and Dodgy.
Festival organiser Hugh Phillimore said: "I'm giving away these tickets for the over 70s as my mother regularly attends the festival at 82 and really enjoys herself. I think it would be a lot of fun, having this year persuaded the Cornbury team to go ahead with this great idea."
Billed as the festival with something for everyone, Cornbury also boasts morris dancing, hot air balloons and children's theatre workshops.
It will run on July 11-12 at the Cornbury Park Estate, Charlbury in Oxfordshire. Tickets for those under 70 range from pounds 27.50 for an under-16 day ticket to an adult weekend pass for pounds 110.
