Music Acquisition: The Guitar Center signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire the assets of The Woodwind & The Brasswind, a musical instrument retail store and Web site based in South Bend South Bend, city (1990 pop. 105,511), seat of St. Joseph co., N Ind., on the great south bend of the St. Joseph River, in a farming and mint-growing region; inc. as a city 1865. , Ind. The Woodwind & The Brasswind filed for bankruptcy protection on Nov. 21. Under the terms of the agreement, the Guitar Center will acquire the company's inventory of band and orchestra instruments, accounts receivable accounts receivable n. the amounts of money due or owed to a business or professional by customers or clients. Generally, accounts receivable refers to the total amount due and is considered in calculating the value of a business or the business' problems in paying , trade names and other intangible assets Intangible Asset

An asset that is not physical in nature.
