Music: Also playing: Ocean Fracture.

GLASWEGIAN four-piece OCEAN FRACTURE (pictured left) will be clambering across Hadrian's Wall and heading for Middlesbrough for tonight's weekly Sumo gig at the Cornerhouse.

If you're into stuff like Dillinger Escape Plan, Botch and Norma Jean you're sure to be impressive by these progressive metallers - technoheads "but without getting self indulgent".

In their brief tenure as a band, the Ocean Fracture lot have shared a stage/toured with These Arms Are Snakes, Eden Maine, Bossk, Sika Redem, Manatees, November Coming Fire, Devil Sold His Soul, Secondsmile, Lavotchkin and released five-track mini album The Sunmachine And The Ocean in March 2006.

Joining them will be RISE OF RAPHIA, who feature former members of Big Scary Monsters Jairus and Yndi Halda as well as a current member of Undergroove's Cubic Space Division.

Their explosive Converge meets Every Time I Die-esque wall of sound has been blowing audiences away.

Completing the bill are local post-hardcore lads HEROES FALL FIRST.
