The book begins with a quiz to help the reader find his or her inner style--most teens like these quizzes. Murillo then moves on to practical advice on the best possible materials to use and how to keep them organized to avoid frustration. One suggested art project is for the animal lover. It probably doesn't matter to a pet what his/her dish looks like, but the dish is usually on display and this project will give the artist a great sense of accomplishment. The idea for magnetic poetry is particularly inspiring because you get to write your own words. The message-in-a-bottle necklace is oh-so-clever, as is the idea of charades-in-a-can. (The author gives the rules on how to play charades as well.) The tic-tac-toe table is really cute. These are only a few of the sensational ideas covered in this book.
