A multiple layer polymeric structure has been granted a patent. A first layer of an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer has first and second sides. A second solution contact layer of a modified ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer is attached to the first side of the first layer. The second layer has a thickness of greater than 1.6 mils.
